Daisy Violet Marc Jacobs

Marc Jacobs Daisy launched in 2007, created by Alberto Morillas. Its substantial glass bottle, topped with daisies that appear to blossom from a golden cap, won two Fragrance Foundation FiFi Awards in 2008: Women’s Fragrance of the Year and Best Packaging. The house now describes Daisy as opening with wild berries and white violets, then moving into velvety jasmine over a sandalwood base. The three notes announced for Daisy Violet pick up two of those ideas—berries and violet—while adding cedarwood in the dry-down.Marc Jacobs frequently issues Daisy in limited-edition sets of three, such as Spring in green and pink, or Glow in yellow with neon pink, green, and purple accents. It is not yet clear whether Daisy Violet belongs to one of those limited series or will join the permanent collection.
